Title: Thinking like a bilingual – Emerging Identities in Reflective Discourse
Presentation by: Sabina Aleksandra Nowak
Recorded on: 11 March 2021

Abstract

Reflective discourse plays an important role in the construction of identity, mainly because it allows L2 learners to present subjective interpretations of their individual experiences. The present study investigated the role of online journals and explored positive and negative aspects of their application in computer-mediated communication (CMC). The main purpose of the narrative inquiry study was to verify whether peer-shared journals could be recognized as a valuable social discourse.
