Abstract

The aim of this presentation is to summarize preliminary results related to the mapping of the CLIL language competences of Disciplinary Teachers teaching a subject through English at the Faculty of Education of the University of Szeged. This research has been carried out within the framework of the CLIL HET project.
The three sources of data used in the analysis are a linguistic test and a questionnaire filled out by DTs and classroom observation reports of classes taught through English.
The presentation lists the language strengths and weaknesses of DTs, and also proposes some ways of improving the linguistic weaknesses of DTs.
